all ages and levels are welcome 
​ 2023  BEGINNER CAMPS and Level 2 CAMPS
Our beginner camps are perfect for any beginner interested in learning the basic fundamentals to get out there and ride some waves  Our Level 2 camps are designed for the kids who have some surfing experience have had prior surf lessons and are ready to take it to the next level.  We will focus on improving skills, proper technique, catching more waves, reading the lineup and more... Kids develop differently so my program focuses on each individuals needs.  I strive to make each young surfer the best he or she can be.  At the end of the day its all about fun! Just mention level 2 in the message box at check out.

Kids camps are for ages 6-18 years old (any age welcome)
 All abilities welcome, whether you’re a beginner or an experienced surfer our camps will enhance your skills and surfing experience. Children will be supervised by our experienced, certified surf instructors from the time they arrive until they leave. Our goal is not only to have the kids enjoy every moment of their Randazzo Surf camp experience but learn how to safely work their way in and out of the ocean.  They’ll have an amazing day in the sun and surf… we guarantee it!

  • The Camp Day:  Designed by Dean Randazzo  ( Professional surfer and former world tour competitor) Our surf program focuses on learning the proper form and fundamentals of surfing, ocean safety, education, etiquette and fun !  
  • Introduction: Meet our certified Surf instructors about ocean safety, rip currents, surf safety, and surf etiquette.  Every morning we have a mandatory group check in and surf /weather condition educational talk to all campers.
  • Daily Instruction: Very Educational but also fun upon arrival to camp our Surf staff will over see a fun testing period where the student will be placed into instruction groups based on their age and ability level.  These groups will be color coordinated based on age and ability.
  • Equipment: Surfboards, Lycra Top Rashguards, and all equipment will be provided for instruction during the camp. You may bring your own equipment and use if the instructors approve it is safe
  • Surf Safety: Learn how to enter and exit the surf, and ride safely, with introduction to the etiquette of surfing to avoid accidents.  Every camper must complete safety instruction before moving onto the next level of instruction.
  • Ocean safety: Learn the different types of ocean and surf currents and how to safely avoid and/or maneuver through them.
  • Land instruction: Learn the “pop up” where students will be taught how to jump correctly from a prone position to a proper surfing stance and ride
  • Ocean surf instruction: Professional and master surf instructors will be in the water assisting students in the correct way to catch and ride waves. Beginner level campers will be on our included soft longboard surf boards. No kid will be alone in the ocean, surf instructors will be stationed in the water.  Depending on conditions, an instructor camper ratio of no more than a  3-1 ratio.  Campers will gain confidence and learn how to catch and ride waves on their own with some assist. Experienced surf camper can bring your own equipment and will be observed by our professional surfer instructor and will learn more about surf maneuvers and how to help generate speed, power and flow
