RANDAZZO SURF AND JIM HOGAN SURFING HAVE TEAMED UP TO OFFER AN EXCLUSIVE COACHING AND TRAINING SURF CAMP IN COSTA RICA AT JIM HOGAN'S SURF CAMP IN PLAYA HERMOSA BEACH.
Dean and Jim bring over 60 years of combined experience, both have competed at the highest levels and Jim has coached ISA World National teams from USA, Costa Rica and Barbados along with top level pro's. This camp is designed for competitive surfers or any skill level wanting to take their surfing to the next level This exclusive camp will improve every aspect of your surfing guaranteed! Costa Rica offers some world class waves from powerful barreling beach breaks to long right and left hand point breaks. We look for the best breaks daily and venture to different spots and area's offering lefts, rights points, beach breaks that will offer a wide variety of coaching and learning opportunities.
WHATS INCLUDED:
Airport transfers: Pick up and drop off from San Jose airport: You will be met and dropped back off at the airport by Dean and the surf camp shuttle bus.
ACCOMMODATIONS: Hotel on the beach, with A/C, TV, Internet, Pool, and on-site Restaurant. Breakfast is included.
Families or groups of 3 or more people will be accommodated in a 2 bedroom condo right on the beach, next door to the hotel. These condos include a full-size kitchen and living room, and also have internet access and swimming pool. Breakfast is not included when staying in the condo. Packages can be adjusted to tailor your needs inquire for special request. Some meals and dinners are included prepared at the house (head quarters)
Parents are encouraged to come especially for younger kids the charge is only an extra $50.00-$75.00 per day depending on accommodations. Unsupervised kids will stay at a condo on the beach or jims guest house with supervision at all times.
SURF TRANSPORTATION: Daily pick up at your hotel at 7:00 am to go surfing. We will go to the best spot each day depending upon surf conditions and your surfing skill level. Surf all morning eat lunch relax, nap and we do another surf session late afternoon. Depending on conditions and where we go we can surf all day. We are ready to venture out of the area for a few days if surf conditions look good at other places like Pavone's we are looking to score the best surf and conditions.
DAILY SURF COACHING; You will receive daily surf coaching from both Jim and Dean which includes video and or photographs of your session. Every evening we will analyze video footage to improve your body mechanics and skills also contest strategies and maximizing scoring potentials. Proper stretching, yoga and exercise training during the week will be offered by Dean a NASM certified trainer. Surf coaching will be tailored to each surfers needs. Bring a thumb drive you will receive a copy of all the footage when your surf camp is over. Great opportunity to get great footage for sponsors and social media coverage. Last year it was great to see all the kids improve so much from day one to the last day, its great to coach everyday and in different wave types.
